This shirt’s my proof I didn’t die, even if my lungs sent a resignation letter at the halfway mark. Training was me jogging in place during commercials—basically Rocky, but with more pizza breaks. The finish line’s a mirage, and I’m bartering with my hamstrings like “just get me there, I’ll never do this again.” Everyone’s all “you’re amazing,” but I’m amazing at faking it ‘til the free snacks.
