The view was great—endless water and regret—but the Wi-Fi was nonexistent, so I bonded with the foghorn instead. I’d shout life advice into the mist, like ‘Turn left, boats!’ and hope something listened. Spoiler: nothing did. Now I’m here, wearing this shirt, because therapy isn’t cheap and neither was the gas to escape that glowing prison.
